Companion apps
Connect iPhone, iPad, and Vision Pro to your Glowbom Desktop projects.

The Glowbom companion apps connect iPhone, iPad, and Vision Pro to Glowbom Desktop. Capture ideas, chat, review builds, and browse shared media from your device. Desktop runs the tools and keeps your project files.
Install the companion app on your device separately from the Mac app. This companion preview requires matching current builds; older published apps may not include it. See Desktop early access.
The companion endpoints remain in the open backend. Pairing and creation screens in this guide belong to the separate Desktop and native app clients, not the public Agent + Buzz browser.
Keep Desktop open and your computer awake on the same Wi-Fi or local network as your device. Allow Local Network access when asked. Set up and sign in to your Desktop AI tools first. Cloud models need internet access.
Open the projects you want to share on Desktop before enabling the connection.
Nearby pairing stays open for five minutes. Choose Open nearby pairing on Desktop to reopen it.
You can also choose Copy connection code on Desktop. On your device, expand Use a connection code instead, paste the complete code, and choose Connect to Desktop. Supported iPhone and iPad devices can also choose Scan a QR code. Vision Pro uses nearby pairing or the copied code.
Vision Pro's Take a photo on Vision Pro guides you through Capture with the top button, then attaching the result from Photos. Direct camera capture and QR scanning require supported iOS devices.
Credentials stay on Desktop. Messages and media go through it to your selected provider. Model access, limits, and charges depend on that provider. Project review can send your written idea to a model to suggest a name.
Pairing uses an encrypted connection and verifies Desktop's certificate. Keep codes private: they grant access to shared projects, chats, builds, approvals, and media creation. Access expires after eight hours. Stop phone connection revokes it for all paired devices; accepted code builds continue. Use the build's Stop action to cancel one.
Build permissions depend on the agent. Allow all for this build starts off and lasts only for that build; questions and separate paid-media reviews still need an answer. Cursor uses its CLI's automatic mode and deny rules.
Static previews open as browser copies. Live server previews ask you to approve a temporary, unencrypted HTTP link. Use it without real passwords or private data.
Update both apps. For source builds, restart the updated backend too. Check Local Network permission and Wi-Fi isolation; try the copied code if discovery fails.
Shared folders are selected when the connection starts. To share an additional existing project, open it on Desktop, stop and enable Phone connection again, then reconnect. Projects created through the companion are shared automatically.
Direct mobile account access and on-device creation are hidden in this preview.
