Glowbom Live
Download the separate Live app and connect your Buzz channel to a 3D office.

Glowbom Live shows people and agents from a Buzz channel as characters in a 3D office. It is a separate, closed-source app for Mac, Windows, and Linux. Its downloads are hosted in the Glowbom OSS repository's GitHub release assets; its app source is not part of OSS.
The OSS browser interface provides the coding workflow and Buzz connection controls. Install Live to open the 3D office. Keep either Glowbom OSS or Glowbom Desktop running on the same computer to provide the local backend.
Open the GitHub release assets and choose the package for your computer. The Live app is version 4.1.1, hosted on the existing v4.1.0 release.
| Platform | Release asset | Install |
|---|---|---|
| Mac, Apple silicon or Intel | Glowbom-Live-4.1.1-macos-universal.dmg | Open the signed, notarized DMG and drag Glowbom Live into Applications. |
| Windows x64 | Glowbom-Live-4.1.1-windows-x64-unsigned.exe | Run the downloaded app. This preview is unsigned; Windows may show a SmartScreen warning. |
| Linux x86_64 | Glowbom-Live-4.1.1-linux-x86_64.tar.gz | Extract the archive and run GlowbomLive. |
| Linux ARM64 | Glowbom-Live-4.1.1-linux-arm64.tar.gz | Extract the archive and run GlowbomLive. |
Choose the named Live package, rather than GitHub's Source code ZIP or tarball.
You do not need the Godot editor. Glowbom-Live-4.1.1-SHA256SUMS contains checksums
for the four downloads and can be used to verify the file you downloaded.
Live does not install OSS. On Windows, the documented OSS setup runs in WSL; Live is the native Windows app. Native Windows and Linux runtime acceptance checks remain pending for this preview.
See the Buzz CLI project for installation.
The backend finds buzz on PATH or the CLI inside /Applications/Buzz.app on Mac.
For the connector's technical details, see
the repository's Buzz guide.
Install Live in /Applications or ~/Applications. Return to the Buzz panel
in OSS or Live settings in Desktop and choose Open Glowbom Live. If Live
is already open, quit it first so the new connection can be passed to it.
Live 4.1.1 accepts the local backend connection automatically when launched this way. Opening Live directly from Finder uses the manual setup below. If the button still says Get Glowbom Live, check the installation location and return to Glowbom to refresh it.
On Windows or Linux, or when opening the app yourself on Mac:
This is the local backend token, not your Buzz identity private key. Keep it private. Leave OSS or Desktop running while using Live. After restarting the backend, reconnect the Buzz channel and pass the new token to Live.
The current office supports rosters of one to eight members. Walking and typing animations are ambient; they do not prove that an agent is running a task. Restart the office after refreshing the roster to show membership changes.
Live is optional. You can use the OSS coding workflow without it, or sign up for Glowbom Desktop early access for the full Mac workspace.
